Giuseppe Maggiolo Novella 
Pianist, Composer, Arranger. Born in Cagliari in 1977. Soloist Pianist, he plays in concert using the sheet as a sign of humility and respect for the music, following the example of Russian pianist Sviatoslav Richter. His repertoire spans several historical periods from the Baroque era to film music and jazz in XXI century.
Several concert programs that characterize the ductility. In 2006, dedicated a series of concerts in homage to Mozart for the 250th anniversary of the birth. With the concert "Playing Movies" Soundtrack for solo piano, opened the 2008 season of the Teatro Civico di Cagliari. He has played in the Zurich-Musik Hug, in London where he received advice from Noretta Conci (Honorary member of the Royal Academy and a Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli's pupil), as well as in Brescia, Riva del Garda, Florence, and naturaly in Sardinia. GMN Racconto di Suoni (tales of sounds) is the title of his concerts, in which words and music have an unbreakable bond to bring the public approach to understandig the musical message.

"Memories Movies" film music for piano solo is his first CD. Arrangements of original music for orchestra adapted and interpreted the sound of the piano. Built in 2008, is the result of work started in 2005 with arrangements and transcriptions for piano solo and soundtrack: Morricone, Rota, Sakamoto, Wi lliams, Piovani, Silvestri, Offenbach. The originality of the work is the use of medley that connect the various themes of the film in a single song as in "Once Upon a Time in America," "The Last Emperor", "life is beautiful."
In addition to the songs on the album are part of his repertoire and arrangements of classical pieces, symphonic scores of: Portman, Horner, Chaplin, Myers, Barry, Bakalov, Hisaishi, Tchaikovskj, Shostakovich ...

Among his works for solo piano, "mammai e babbai" traditional Sardinian dance, "supplica a mia madre," inspired by the eponymous poem by Pasolini. Author of music for Cinema. Collaborations with director Giovanni Salis: "nel sogno (In the dream)" for movie "I bambini chiudono gli occhi" (2009); "l'ultima sigaretta" (2011) - music arrangements of Albinoni and J.S.Bach; "incontro al buio" (2012) original soundtracks - on line, destino o caso, chat swing; "l'esperimento" (2012) original soudtracks - la bambina, la foto, la telefonata, paura, il nucleo, l'esperimento. Actualy in processing "Angeli nelle tempeste" - director Antonio Catta.
Create musical adaptations for theater, doing business as Pianist, Music Consultant, assistant director for theater companies: il crogiuolo - theatrical intervention, Sirio, Sardinia theater CEDAC. He worked with the artists: Tino Petilli, Mario Faticoni, Bruno Venturi, Rita Atzeri, Marta Proietti Orzella and Gabris Ferrari.
Another chapter are the compositions and arrangements for teaching.
Teacher constantly updated on methodologies, text and music publishing. Masters of Classical and Modern Piano, uses a personalized teaching, based on the "slightly-playing" as applied to any kind, or aspiration level. Master's courses and workshops at the School of Music Studio98labs, teaching since 2000 for various civic and private music schools in Cagliari, Nuoro, Sassari. To his credit including courses and workshops in collaboration with Cultural Association "Cagliari si risveglia" and "il crogiuolo".
